Hi there is a knocking soound from my front suspension when pulling away, especially if the steering wheel is turned slightly. does any one know what it is likely to be?

Find an empty carpark (supermarket one after they've closed) and put the car on full lock and drive in a circle. Repeat circle on opposite full lock. If you can still hear the knocking, then chances are it's worn CV joints.
