I favour Toyo at the moment.
They're a big brand in South East Asia but not in Europe. Consequently pricing is favourable.

if you're prepared to sacrifice some longevity for improved grip in the wet, then go for Goodyear Eagle Ventura. These have come out top for wet performance in various tests, though usually fail to win outright because other tyres major on dry performance and wear rate.
