Noisy right hand steering - Pug 306 - jgriffin

1993 Peugeot 306 - When turning right, sharply, (roundabouts usually) there is a noise coming from the nearside wheel area, sounds like the wheel arch. It\'s a kind of tapping/banging noise as I\'m turning. Any ideas what the problem could be?

Regular clicking or knocking noise? Most likely outer CV joint.

Noisy right hand steering - Pug 306 - egor

I had the same thing with my primerea and it turned out to be cv joint had split and all lube spilled out so metal was rubbing on metal.
Result- £224 bill!
