I have a V reg Rover 420IS,first registered Sep 99 on a pre reg by the dealer,bought by the first owner in Jan 2000,then by me from the same dealer in July 2001with 14000 miles on the clock.It has now done 46000 miles and I have been extremely pleased with its performance to date (it has a FSH).
However,as a regular reader of the column,I am aware that there are certain cars with histories of when faults may occur-what can I expect and, roughly, when for this car (eg timing belts)-not sure which series engine it has-and what is its current worth?
