30+ years ago a car did a similar thing to an office I was working at in St Andrews Sq, Edinburgh
Listed building, iron railings, a bigger car = more damage - demolished the railings, broke the stone edging that held up the iron railings. The car was hanging half in the basement void and the rear end pointing skywards Car taken away quickly - a wreck.
It took a few months to get the edging stone replaced and the damaged stone of the building re-finished. Then there was the problem of getting copies of 200+ year old railings - B&Q did not stock iron railings - that took time.
4/5 months later you couldn't tell where the damage was.
Middle aged drunk driver, fined & banned.
Office is now a small "posh hotel".
