Horsebox trailer fitted with Event ML605 tyres - Dating tyres - interpreting the DOT code - SimplyPurple

Our horsebox trailer is fitted with a set of ML605 tyres.

In order to establish whether they need replacing, I went to check the DOT code, based on a number of web searches.

The tyres look OK - no visible cracking or other signs of ages, and the treads are very lightly worn.

The DOT code only shows 'DOT OUEA'. There are 'E4' and 'e4' numbers.

How do I determine the manufacturing date of these tyres, please?

Thanks

SP

There should be a numeric 4-digit code on the sidewall, often on one side only so sod's law is that it'll be on the inside - the first 2 digits represent the week of the year (01-52) and the last 2 digits represent the year - so 2609 would be week 26 of 2009.
