Ford Fiesta - 2004 - Replacement Headlight Unit - Babygotoo

Hi,

My son has cracked the lens on his 2004 Fiesta headlight, we got a replacement from the scrappie but whilst driving it would just go off intermittently and when giving the connector a wiggle a sound similar to a small electrical motor could be heard.

I put the old one back one to just to see if it was an separate issue but that one worked fine, does anyone know if some cars of this age had a self levelling headlights or know of any other issue.

If there are self levelling units how do i tell them apart from the normal ones please when i get another one?

Thanks.

. Standard lights have an adjustment switch on the dash , next to lighting switch , if fitted .The replacement light could be faulty . It may be possible to swap out the adjustment motor from the old headlight
