Honda Jazz - How to remove the stubborn mark at tyre rim? - hunterex

I have a stubborn mark on my tyre rim alloy. Please refer to the image below:

The brown mark on the tyre rim is very stubborn. I have use anti-grease liquid but it does not work.

Can tar removal help? If not, which liquid cleaner should I use? Thank you

Those marks are fine rusty dust from braking, so you can't dissolve them. Try a gentle abrasive such as T-cut, or Brasso which you may already have.

This stuff isn't cheap, but check out the youtube videos of it in action.

I use lots of Bilt Hamber's products, including auto wheel, everything they sell does what it says on the tin, i have no affiliation with BH, not even a discount code which considering the number of recommends i give wouldn't go amiss :-)

And some corrosion where kerb scraping may have taken place. I use Muc Off myself for cleaning wheels. Hose, spray on, rub with brush, hose off.
