Mitsubishi ASX - Saggy Bottom - CliffDee

I am a big guy and lately the lower seat cushion in the drivers side is saggy (8 years of sitting) and not giving as much support as it used to. Is this something the dealer could fix or do I have to find a seat specialist. If I need a specialist any recommendations near Birmingham? Thanks

So no one has any idea? I'll just have to buy a new car then.....

The best way would be to buy another seat exactly the same from a scrap yard and swap it over as have done the same a few times over the years without issue, any mechanic could do it in minutes if you aren't able yourself. Look on ebay and type in your model and breaking or even gumtree near you. Probably be a lot cheaper than re-cushioning your seat and certainly don't go to a dealer!

Is it identical to the passenger seat?

Some modern cars have an airbag in the outer bolster, so a swap may not work?
