Regarding 'Sheer lubacy', I thought, perhaps naively, that manufacturers had set prices that all their dealers were supposed to charge for routine services and job? Certainly Ford & VW dealers I have experienced have such prices on a poster on the wall of the service reception area.

Isn't this covered by breakdown companies that provide cover should the driver be "incapacitated"
