I have a 1.6 2007 petrol zetec 115ps 140000 miles

I was having trouble with the throttle sensors causing my car to go to limeted speed mode with the message 'engine system faliure'. I bought throttle body from a 2009 1.6 zetec, the part was actually manufactured 2008, and fitted it.

Now the car wont start normally, it just goes straight into safe mode and shows the engine system faliure message?

Any ideas?
