VW POLO - VW Polo 2006 9N3 1.2S Engine Cover - diverdave

Hi, New to the forum, looking to find out if the polo we have bought for our son should have an engine cover. Have just changed out the pencil coils, plugs and battery and noticed it does not have a cover. Have looked for a bar code sticker on the top butthere isn't one, its only done 27, 000 and and so would like to replace it if it had one. Seems to be after reading a few posts that some people think that polos of this year possibly were not fitted with one. Any help appreciated.

Some do and some don't.When fitted ,the cover is very small and only covers the camshaft top.
