I booked on airport car parking in advance and paid in advance, All well and good, Got confirmation, All well and good.

Changed our travel plans to travel a day later, but using the original ticket back so stayed within the period booked.

Car parking is Charged on a Daily 24 hour basis.. Car entered car park within the 1st 24 hour period, and left on the last day, but before the "day" had expired. Days count as midnight to midnight, so parking sunday to sunday as original is 8 days, even if less than 7 x 24 hour periods.

No problem with that, but on collecting the car was asked for £147 for the seven days, (had prepaid 8 days for a lot less.)

Eventually was allowed to leave after pointing out that I had not exceeded in any way the time I had paid for.

Manager pointed out to employee that as long as i left before midnight on the last day it did not matter if i turned up however many days late.

Arrgh.

They do like to try it on.
