Peugeot 307 SW Riper - Loss of power tempory - Welshlad34

I have a peugeot 307 sw ripper and when i got to throttle in second i lose power temporary and the when i release the peddle and put it back down it goes again any way someone can help as i know nothing about cars only to top up water and cheaking oil on dip stick........ please help
