Citroen C4 - Remove Citroen C4 steering wheel - C4HDi

Hi folks

I'm gradually beating my C4 into submission and catching up on jobs. I've filled the Eolys tank this morning - I only realised I had one recently when the SERVICE light popped on!

I need to replace the COMM2000 unit (lights wipers etc) to cure a lights issue - where the fogs come on and disco flash all on their own... I've got the airbag off which was fun, but am now stumped. The central fixed part of the column looks like it needs to come off? or is it a case of airbag out, remove central bolt then pull like hell? Anyone done this? I have the correct part ready to fit.

OK - so I bought a Haynes manual and find I don't need to remove the steering wheel! Happy days. Good old Haynes.

If you need your COMM2000 fixing rather than replacing I can highly recommend a chap in Bradford. He lists the repair service on Ebay for around £29.
