my citireon was not running for 2 months, when i started battery was dad get a jump start, then its run ok for 1st,2,3,4,5 gear

BUT the reverse gear did NOT function or work means the car went not reverse

I heard it can be a Linkage gear problem can the oil

others said can be the battery needs charge and swith it off & on

personally if the gear 1 to 5 working ok the reverse gear its malfunctioning means can can not reverse.

so if something mechniacal the whole gears will not work but it can be technical.

Please advise me asap as the car parcked far from where i live because some mechanics said oh you have to change whole gear box which is nonsense
