PocketGPSWorld or SCDB - SatNav Database ?? - autumnboy

I have a TomTom SatNav. Have used TomToms Safety/Speed camera database for some years.

But recently I've noticed quite a few local mobile camera locations in my area are no longer shown on the map and some fixed camera's are longer used, and not have been for a few years. And wonders how many more are missing or ghosts.

Friends suggest either using SCDB or PocketGPSWorld for their database of camera's. Did find a SCDB database, but thats found to be no better (unless because it was free) than TomTom's.

Knowing the SCDB costs less than PocketGPSWorld.

Anyone know if the PGPSW is any better being up-todate, than either TomTom or SCDB.

how does it update?

I've got a Garmin which I do not recommend as it happily sends me down the most ludicrous of farm tracks and regularly shows routes that would make your head spin when there is a perfectly good straight road ahead.
