Communal Sky Satellite Dish - scot22

I have looked on the Sky site but not able to find the answer. If you want to have a communal dish installed for a block of flats is there a minimum number of subscribers required ? Also what costs (other than subscription charges ) are there for installation and future maintenance ? Obviously these will be variable, looking for approximate costs.

I would be grateful for responses - especially anyone with personal experience.

My Mother's block has one but it was part of the developers spec and installed during fit out. It's up to individual flat owners whether they subscribeto Sky or not, but the cost of maintaining the facility is part of the service charge. Cost a bit recently as after approx 10yrs some component on the dish/feed failed and scaffolding access to roof was required.

Thanks - that's very helpful indeed. Its not only present costs but future expense to consider as well.
