Citroen C4 Picasso - 2014 - Headlamp adjustments - autumnboy

Are the headlamps adjustable like the older model Picasso's.

If so where/how do you adjust them.

When driving in country lanes I sometime find them too low even on the highest thumbwheel setting.

thanks

The adjusters are on the back of the headlamp and are usually a 5 or 6mm hex (Allen) key size. There are two of them, 1 for height and 1 for left/right aim. The best idea would be to ask a local garage/MOT station if they could check and adjust the lights for you as they'll have the beam setter/testing equipment to set them correctly.

Also, the thumbwheel adjuster you are using will lower the lights, not raise them, the higher the number you set them is an adjustment to compensate for weight in the boot so the lights will seem too low if it's on setting 3 or 4. The lights need to be set manually with the thumbwheel adjuster on zero.

Thanks,

My old 2008 Grand C4 Picasso had these adjusters white in colour which I did adjust.

But the new C4 Picasso does not have the same adjusters. The only thing I can see is one hex head screw approx. 5mm AF going into the headlamp almost against the inner wing on each side. ???

Found em.

There's a grey adjuster with a Allen key fitment, which looks if it's adjust the vertical and this other screw adjusts sideways.

thanks
