sl 500 r129 - mercedes sl 500 rear vinyl screen damage - carnut1980

hi all, the vinyl screen on my 1990 merc sl 500 has a tear in it. as do one of the smaller rear 'side' windows. Should i repair or replace the screens? replacing is a good £300, but a repair kit is only £15, though replacing would look better, but i don't want to spend too much. What would you guys/girls do? cheers

Depends what you want to do with the car, keeping it long term with a view to modern classic status then get it done.

These are superb cars, some of the very best MB has made, its worth keeping up to standard, keeping MB's up to standard is not a cheap task, they cost serious money to maintain properly and will bite you in bum big time if you fail to do so.
