Chrysler Voyager - Are winter tyres inter-changeable between cars? - JJMcGrey

Am selling our Chrysler Voyager 2004, and have a set of winter tyres, on rims, for it in the garage. Will I be able to use these tyres on a different car? Am possibly buying a Chevrolet Captiva...is this not made by the same company, and therefore likely to fit my winter tyres?

Any advice greatly recieved.

Chevrolet is part of General Motors. Chrysler is a competitor of General Motors, so they are not made by the same company.

You need to look up the diameter, rim size, offset, bolt pitch circle etc to see if theese wheel will fit the Chev. Much simpler to sell them on eBay as Voyager wheels and tyres.

If the tyres are the same size and the same speed and load ratings are teh same they are usable on any car you buy.

Rims are more unique.

Whatever you do inform your insurers, they may consider it a modification and this can impact if you have a claim.
