Vauxhall Meriva - Replace Meriva wing mirror glass - help! - loopalot

Some kind soul broke my passenger wing mirror glass - it is hanging out half smashed. The back plate is still in pace. Do I buy a new mirror with the back plate or without and how exactly to I fit the new one? Any help would be much appreciated. It is electric.

They just clip in ,or you can stick a replacement glass on top of what remains of your old glass,places to buy are the main agents,Halfords,Ebay any accessory shop.make sure it has or has not heating elements before you buy.

As per follow. Ebay is a good place for wing mirror glass. I replaced both sides on my corsa d recently. Easy job, just stick or glue the new ones on.
