The clip holds the hose in place so that you cannot pull it out. You therefore need to squeeze ? the ends of the green clip ( to expand it), then turn the hose anti clockwise a quarter turn and pull it carefully out over the lip. Another method is to (squeeze?) open the clip and push it back away from the hose (so that it is not holding the hose in place), then you can turn and pull it out as above.
