Ford Transit Connect 75 - Front end rattle - IOWboy

When driving i get a sort of rattle from the front end its not the engine as no rattle when just reving the engine it is allways at the same revs in each gear which is about 40 in 4th and 50 in 5th (unlucky on the island) no air leaks cant find anything wrong with turbo Maybe gearbox or clutch any idears ???

Not being able to hear it makes it a bit difficult. If its a loose mechanical rattle it could be something on the exhaust. Can you video it and put it on YouTube.

its not on the exhaust but it could be inside the exhaust didnt think of that thanks for reply will see what i can do tommorow

somebody has sugested it may be gearbox thrash --- common on transit connects can anybody explain gearbox thrash

It's probably been sorted by now but have you got the little Ford 3"hub caps? They rattle like mad and only need a spot of mastic or similar to cure.
