Insignia more unreliable than the Vectra C? - daveyK_UK

With the ammount of Insignia's sold in the UK, and with a large proportion making there way after 3 years of age onto the private market;

why hasnt their been much discussion that Vauxhall have out done themselves again and made the Insignia even more unreliable than the Vectra C?

For what it's worth, around here (Macclesfield), Vectra Cs are the second most popular option for private hire taxi drivers -- the most popular being the current model new Skoda Superbs and Octavias.

Probable because it isn`t I think it was in the top ten of all reliable cars in the ADAC charts I sure the Vectra was around 12th.

In my survey of 1 (one) vehicle, mine, the Vectra 3.2 drove like new even though it was 9 years old. See my other post to read of its demise.

My Vectra C had a new clutch at 3500 miles and a new thermostat at 8000 miles.Both fixed under warranty but i got rid once the 3 years was up.

I wouldn't buy another Vauxhall again.

There is a multitude of Insignia faults listed on the owners forum.

Only the genius designers at GM could design a large hatchback / saloon with no rear legroom
