Wondering if anyone else has had this issue in the past....

Half way home yesterday I noticed that my indicators (all including hazards) had stopped working, not only the external lights but also the interior lights on the dash board, after pulling over to mess about with them I called a friend who advised it may just be a fuse, after changing the fuse yesterday they worked fine, but this morning half way to work I noticed they have started doing the same thing, sometimes they'll flash a few times then stop and sometimes not at all, I've been told this may be an issue with the "Relay?" if this is the case I'm sure I can manage to find a new relay in a local store but I've no idea where I can find this relay in my car, so. .

1. Is this likely to be the relay?

2. If so where in my car is it located?

3. If it's not the relay, what else could it be?

Any help or advise would be great :)
