I have just changed all 4 tyres on my Octavia to Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance. They are rated B for fuel economy, A for wet grip and fall into one of the lower groups for noise (68dB).

The tyres are markedly quieter than the Goodyear F1's they replaced and I have therefore concluded there must be some merit to these new catorgeries.

I also plan to replace the relatively noisey Dunlop SP01's on the Yeti with these Goodyears, when the time comes.
