I have a 2004 Peugeot 307 XSI HD Estate and everytime i put the AC on, it starts working and cools down nicely, but then after about a minute it stop working completely.

After waiting for about 2 minutes, it comes back on again at the same fan speed it went off at. If I leave it on a really slow fan speed, which you can hardly feel it, then the AC seems to work properly and doesn't stop, but I can't turn it up any higher?

It feels cold enough when it does work, but not much help when you have 3 kids in the car and 2 adults to cool down in this heat?!

Does it need a re-gas or could there be a leak or even maybe electrical issues?!

It's having an MOT on Tuesday (23rd July) so I didn't know whether I could get it checked out at the same time?
