Hi all,
Can anybody help with the location of the 16 pin USB plug in on a 2004 skoda fabia 1.9 diesel hatchback .

Drivers side on lower plastic dash panel,above pedals,or behind drop down coin tray to the right of steering column.(16 pin obd connector)hth

Hi,Thankyou for that ,lots of problems with the car .all three brake lights on ,steering wheel symbol on dash ,diesel heater flashing continuously .

My simple ecu reader won't read the faults ,so taking it in to garage tommorow ,hopefully not to expensive .

yep, brake switch would be my first port of call. Should be easy to get at and check. Then check wiring for chaffing or shorts.

Rear cluster full of water?

Thanks all for the advice ,replacing the brake switch did the trick ,£42 including labour plus vat .Apparently it's a common fault on vw skoda .

Still not sure why the glow plug light and steering light display should come on though ,any thoughts ?
