Peugeot 205 hatch - Central locking

Peugeot 205 hatch - Central locking - Andrew-T

Doors and tailgate open and close normally. Central locking locks normally but won't unlock, either by key or by internal pushbutton (no remote operation). Sounds like a wiring fault - I haven't looked behind the door card yet. Any suggestions?

Could be a wiring fault within the door to the pillar, or possibly the switch unit attached to the key mechanism.If I recall,there is also a cd locking relay behind the dash.

Problem sorted after taking off the door card. Just had to play with the twin plugs to the actuator and tighten their sockets up a bit.
