Mazda MX5 - Shuddering through steering wheel - easypeasy
Hi folks,my girlfriend is reporting that on various occasions in the last 3 weeks,at speeds at,or over 60mph,she is getting a shuddering/ juddering feeling through the steering wheel. It's not all the time,but it is happening. I had the wheels balanced and it still happened. Any ideas at what might be causing this? Cheers

Could well be ply seperation on a tyre, they will balance OK but go out of round at speed, try swapping the front and rear wheels.

Thanks for that. My tyre guy suggested the swap,if it continued. I'll try it. Thanks again

One of the brake calipers is sticking,so we that no that as causing the problem. Time will tell!

Did you have the rears balanced as well as the front?
