Wasn't me I'm afraid: I've been to Northampton quite often but never been to Wellingborough: I'm afraid I don't know Northants at all well - the loss is mine! I used to live in Berks, near Reading - now in north Dorset.

I may be wrong but I think Gordonbennet and Bromptonaut live in that general area, so they or others may be able to help.

On Audis, I do like them a lot; my nom de clavier comes from the A4 Avant 2.5 TDI that I had when I first joined the forum in 2004. But I find it a little difficult to justify the extra cost of an Audi over an identically powered Skoda: £1,000 or £2,000 perhaps but the difference is quite a bit more than that. The A3 is better value: not much more than a Golf and with a much wider range of engines than the Fabia, althiough a SEAT Leon is better value still.
