Suzuki Swift (1993–2003)

Last updated 3 October 2016

Low prices. Quite perky around town. The GTi is the pick of the range but getting old now.
Felt dated and cheap, even when new. GTi apart, doesn't handle or ride very well. Cylinder heads can crack.
Updated 3 June 2003

recall of 3,000 Swifts because seatbelt anchorages and mountings of seats behind driver and passenger are not strong enough. Anchorages and mountings to be strengthened.
