Vauxhall's Approved Used Scheme

Scheme name: Network Q. It was the first national used car scheme in the UK and Network Q is arguably still the most well known. It marked its 20th anniversary in 2010.

Warranty period: Every vehicle has a minimum of a 12 month / 20,000 mile warranty, or the balance of manufacturer's warranty, whichever is longer.

History check? Full investigation into the car's mileage, identity, whether it's been stolen, outstanding finance agreements and checked against Vauxhall's recall register for any recalled parts (Vauxhall models only).

Inspection? Factory-trained technicians carry out the checks, which include every major mechanical component, all vital safety and security checks, a thorough test drive, inspection of interior and exterior features and final preparation of your vehicle.

Breakdown Cover: No.

Exchange policy: 30 days.

Special features of the scheme:  A 12-month/20,000-mile warranty on the clutch, brakes and battery. There's also seven days of free insurance cover.
