Car with 80,000 miles on the clock

My brother wants to buy a Honda estate with 80,000 miles on the clock - it is a 2008 plate selling at £8,000. Can you advise?

Presumably an Accord. You don't say petrol or diesel. But as long as it has been properly serviced and the inlet manifold swirl flaps have been checked and there is no problem with the self lifting tailgate, then the 80k miles is nothing to worry about. Very healthy for a car to clock up 80k miles so quickly and you benefit from getting a much younger car than you could otherwise buy for £8k.
