My 2001 Vauxhall Astra won't start - any idea why?

I've got a problem with my 2001 Vauxhall Astra 1.8 SXI, which won't start in the mornings but will go with a push. Once started, if I turn it off will start again, but it takes time - the longer I leave it the longer it takes to start. I've renewed the coil pack, plugs, air flow sensor, both exhaust sensors, camshaft sensor and even put a non-return valve in the fuel line. It seems to be using loads of fuel as well. Can you help?

They block their EGRs. The bodge answer is to remove the EGR, isolate it and reprogram the ECU.
