How can I get my Vauxhall Corsa's boot open?

My 06-plate Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 SXI's boot will not unlock. All doors will open, but the boot stays in the locked mode. I can hear the solenoid activating but the latch will not release.

It's jammed. It may release if someone pushes down on the hatchback while you work the lock.
