Which Saab 9-5 models are the best secondhand buys?

I see the prices for Saab 9-5 are the best around secondhand for a good family estate. I have £7000 and do not know which engine or year to look into. Is there anything I should watch out for?

Do not even begin to consider the disastrous 1.9 diesel. Go for the 2.2 petrol turbo. Repair costs are high which is the reason for the low used values. There always is a reason.
