I changed my Peugeot 306's central locking receiver - does the whole system need recoding?

I've got a W-reg Peugeot 306 1.4 and my central locking doesn't work. I've changed the battery in my key fob and I've also changed the receiver unit in the roof. Will it need recoding because I've changed the central locking receiver?

Of course it will all need recoding. Try a car security specialist.

When locked, the alarm keeps going off.
When cold, the central locking only unlocks drivers side. Unlocks when driving, when it's warmed up.
