Does the 52-plate Toyota Celica still suffer with oil consumption issues?

I'm thinking of buying a 52-plate Toyota Celica, and have heard there are oil consumption issues. Is it true that Toyota fixed this problem with the 52-plate model and upward? If not, how can I tell if I will be buying a car with that fault?

You're ahead of me on that. I can't tell you. But the club will be able to.
