Would a brand new MG TF be a good purchase?

My local garage has a brand new MG TF for around £14,500. They say that this is a good buy because there are only 26 of these cars in the UK and they have two of them. They say that production of this car will not start again till around 2014 and will be at least £18,000. Is this a good investment and a good buy?

These were advertised in Telegraph Motoring at a bit less, but this is by no means expensive for what you will get. The bugbear is spares and parts, and how compatible parts for the latest models are with the older cars from 2005 and before, catered for by the club. I'd get in touch with the MG Owners Club and seek advice there. (Not the MG Car Club. That's for older 'classic' MGs.)
