Is £300 too much to pay for a rear view mirror camera on my new Ford Ka+?

I've decided to get a Ford Ka+ with the top spec 85PS engine. My wife is slightly disappointed that it doesn't have a reversing camera and I've been quoted £300 for fitting a mirror device as a camera. Is this reasonable? It's quite a bit extra, but will spec up to meet my wife's.

That's the standard Ford accessory. Quite sensible because the screen is in the mirror that you will already be looking in. Otherwise you have to look at a screen, the interior mirror and the two side mirrors.
