Why is my Range Rover Evoque so noisy on start up?

My three year old Range Rover Evoque 2.2 diesel has started to make a very loud "clattering" noise when I start it in the mornings. The noise goes away after 20 - 30 seconds and settles down with normal diesel noise. The vehicle has only covered 12,000 miles and has had been serviced each year by my local Range Rover dealership. The car drives very well with no other problems. Is this normal?

This is actually a Ford engine and is highly prone to camshaft failure in Freelander 2s and Evoques. Itemised here:www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/land-rover/freelande.../ Get it checked.
