Dropped key in handbrake cover - how can I retrieve it?

I own a 2016 Ford Fiesta and have dropped my keys through the handbrake cover. I can just see part of it when I pull the handbrake up. Being brass and plastic, I can't use a magnet to get it. Is it a dealer task or can part of the console be removed by me?

Definitely a DIY job with the right tools. But if you check tools shops (and even some service stations) you can probably find a grabber for retrieving objects like this.
