Turbo hose problems on Freelander 2

The turbo hose has burst twice on my Land Rover Freelander 2. Have you heard of this before? Do you know of any preventative measures I could take?

It's obviously over-pressuring so you need to get it to a specialist to find out why and to fix it. Not a DIY job.
