If rainwater leaked into my new Ford Kuga can I return it as not fit for purpose?

I have a fault with my 6 month old Ford Kuga. The windows chose to open themselves on a very stormy rainy night and now I am driving a pond. I don't expect a car of just 6 months to develop a fault such as this and it has annoyed me so much that I don't want the car anymore as I know it will have to keep going back and forth as they spend months replacing things and still not resolving the issue. How can I get them to take it back as not fit for purpose and give me my deposit back?

Might be that rainwater got into the locking and windows ECU inside the driver's door. Might be that the key has a 'global window opening' function and you sat on the key in your pocket which then 'globally' opened all the windows. Your rights are here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/
