BMW 2 Series Active Tourer problems

My BMW 2 Series Active Tourer is not two months old, but it has been blighted with problems. So far the dealer has investigated the collision warning camera/breaking warning three times but cannot solve the problem. A break switch has been changed in accordance with BMW procedures but that has not fixed it.

Yesterday my car was in again and they couldn't identify the fault. However they did recalibrate the system. I am told the all faults are automatically transmitted to BMW in Germany and that the situation is always under review.

My dealer won't directly get in touch with BMW, rather wait until they respond if other cars have the same problem as mine. I expect the warning messages to come up again in the future. I don't expect you to be able to solve my cars problem but can you give me any advice please?

Legally you can reject the car for a full refund or replacement because a "vital, life-saving system has failed and put you in danger". www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/ But if you don;t want to do that I'll simply record this in the car by car entry and see how the problem develops with other cars. VAG also had a bit of trouble with its similar system.
