What is the newest non-DPF A6 I can buy?

What is the newest non-DPF A6 I can buy. I am hoping for a 2.7 or 3.0 TDi Quattro.

Would you recommend Auto or Manual?

They all have DPFs. For no DPF you would have to go to old-old shape, pre 2004. On the 2004-2011 A6 the manual shift (only available on the 2.7TDI) was terrible, so has to be the torque converter auto.
