Hyundai Tucson buying advice?

I'm considering a Hyundai Tucson, I especially like the 5 year warranty. - is it worth forking out the extra for the 4x4 2.0 Premium over the 1.7 SE nav which is only 2WD? And are there any competitors I should be looking at.

Depends how you will be using it. Without special tyres 2WD will be useless in snow; worse than a conventional FWD hatchback. The obvious alternative is the new Suzuki Vitara S 1.4T BoosterJet that offers diesel economy, low CO2 and excellent performance from a petrol engine. Don't go near the 19-inch wheel option. Never have tyres lower profile than 55 on an SUV.
