Airbag sticker

I've just bought a new car and there is an airbag sticker on both sides of the passenger sun visor. Is there any legal requirement for this or can I remove it?

It is to warn passengers of the presence of an airbag so that they don't put a rear facing baby seat in the passenger seat without switching the airbag off (if, indeed, there is a switch to switch it off). If put there by the car manufacturer there may be an insurance implication to removing it, such as holding you liable for any injury to a baby from an airbag.
